SDU, SDS ... Good or bad?
By jeTAime @ 10:53 PM :: 595 Views :: 2 Comments :: :: General
The government encourages working adults to go out and meet more people and go for dating, and attending matchmaking agencies like SDU/SDS.

My concern about such matchmaking agencies is, how can one ensure that the people attending it are single? I see it as a vicious cycle -- if participants are attached and still attend, it'll definitely upset the other half given that they are there seeking possible Significant Other. Not only their existing partner will be affected, the other participant (who may possibly be with the person) will unknowingly be "cheated" in that sense.

Having been through that, I'm starting to think how matchmaking agencies can ensure if the participants joining are single? Unless it's officially a know-more-friends session rather than matchmaking, it's unfair if attached people join the agencies.

I've seen quite a couple of such incidences of late and I believe there are more out there, just that people are unaware about them.

Hopefully the "SDU Trust Mark" will cover this area.
