ACTION Speak Louder than WORDS
By pinpin @ 12:55 AM :: 465 Views :: 0 Comments :: Women, REACH Events/Activities/Workgroup Activities, Aspirations for REACH, General

Hi, just wan to voice out how i feel.

I am a self employed and it was lately been brought to my attention that GPML (Government-Paid Maternity Leave)Scheme was applicable to me when I gave birth to my third child, therefore i wrote in to appeal and hope dat MCYS could kindly review my claim but it really upset mi when they simply reply mi by saying "Base on their guidelines, they are not able to process my claim"

I do believe that many people out there do not knw that GPML scheme do applicable to self-employ or maybe i'm the only ignorant people out there but anyway...

Gov keep encourage people to ve more kids saying will help us in all ways
and during the 2008 national day rally our gov say will go all way to help the need but now when we really need their help nothing has been done to help us..We were just simply and easliy told off by them using their most COMMON words base on 'Our guidelines' or "According to our Rules and Regulation" we are not able to approve or there is
nothg we can help...

Why is there be so many "restriction" or "guidelines" when you really want to help someone??? To me is like talking abt TERMS AND CONDITIONS rather the HELP...Why can't they be more "FLEXIBLE"

That why i say "ACTION SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS" dun just talk only when we need them no action is taken...

Sad..sad..sad..
