I have frequent interaction with teenagers of today. They are educated, intellectual and will be active contributors to tomorrow's society. However there's something about many of them that disturbs me deeply - It's the cynicism they hold towards the leaders of today.
They hold a very deep-seated mindset that automatically criticises the govt on anything they do, any changes they make. It's a matter of concern because these pp will be our future leaders, they will hold top, if not, senior positions in society. What will happen to our country if they continue to adopt this mindest and take it into the future?
I agree our govt isn't perfect, there're changes they need to make. But with every change they desire to make in the name of progress, the reaction of these youngsters is still the same - it's met with strong criticism.
How can we change this? It's a mindset and something is set in the mind, it's difficult to change.
