Containment is what Singapore is doing now in trying to prevent the entrance and spread of the virus within our shore. In the Mitigation phase, the emphasis shifts from preventing the virus from coming in and moves towards focusing on caring for patients, especially those high risk ones. Once the numbers are large containment is not possible or effective and we will have to gradually switch to mitigating the situation
