Unsightful Scene of Government Servant
By rick @ 4:27 PM :: 1002 Views :: 2 Comments :: :: General

Dear all,

The attached image was taken on 23 Jun ' 09 around 10.15am, morning at JOO CHIAT ROAD, between shophouse number 170 to 190.

An unsightful scene was discover in which a carpark attendent from CISCO was smoking in a restricted zone, (doorstep of shophouse). To my astonishment, he was also changing his attire in public while smoking.

I was wondering what if this kind of act was seen by tourists or any potential expatriates which could have exagerrate to their own country that Singapore has got other standard then what they expected.

This might lead to a image dispute for Singapore.

I am hoping any relevant department could look into the disipline and image of people who are in government uniform.

Singapore is our land, our nation, and our home.

Regards

Rick Tan

Cisco guared changing clthes in public.
Ricky said he's afraid foreigners and expats here will have bad impression of Singapore. Who cares what foreigners think. Care what locals think. Why bother what foreigners think anyway. Foreigners have seen worst things in India where people just shit and piss anywhere in the streets. Changing clothes in public, that's cool to foreigners and expats. Don't you care too much what foreigners and expats think of Singapore, who care about them anyway. Let them think anyway they like, its called freedom, you cannot stop them from thinking and looking. Care more what locals will think.
