Bus and MRT Fares to be raised from Oct 1?

Is LTA deaf and dumb? Fares you know how to approve for hiking when oil prices goes up and when pump prices fell drastically, you don't know how to reduce, have we gotten the right person in the job? We need people who knows their stuff well not those who spoke with full of confidence, but empty inside.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

They know the oil price has drop drastically, they really know.
They're not adjusting the price of the fare as they are waiting for the price of fuel to increase again, thus saving them the trouble of adjusting the fare validators. Furthermore, why bother, they're not the one paying or affected, why trouble themself with adjusting the fare and costing them to pay the people to adjust it.

You haven't learnt yet? If prices go up again, they will adjust the fare validators. Adjust upwards. That's they way it has been all along.

All the way up to the PAP. Times bad, CPF cut drastically. Times good, their pay go up first, we still haven't had our CPF fully restored, their pay go up again. Times improve a little more, our CPF still down, GST introduced, then increased.

Now times bad... lets see what else we need to sacrifice while their pay is still climbing and the extra taxes added when times were good are retained.

Our high cost of living all due to external factors? Really?

Is LTA taking its commuters for a ride, thus making them fools to pay more when the oil prices has fallen steeply?

Maybe their fare collecting machine can only be adjusted up, once set can only be reset with another upward adjustment. Maybe, just maybe.
